Year 12 and 13 Performing Arts students were recently treated to a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of a professional musical theatre company rehearsal.

Students at The Priory Ruskin Academy were celebrating another set of excellent Sixth Form results on A Level results day, 18th August. 99% of students have passed their A level and Level 3 BTEC qualifications, with over three quarters at grades A*-C or equivalent.
In July, students from the Academy and various other secondary schools came together to perform the musical, `Miss Saigon`. The outstanding performances were worthy of a West End stage!
On 7th July, over 150 Primary school children came to the Academy to participate in a day of music.
On July 11th, a group of eighteen Year 9 and 10 French GCSE students left Ruskin for a five day trip to the Centre des Etoiles in Normandy, France.
On Monday 11th July, The Priory Ruskin Academy held a Visual Arts evening showcasing stunning examples of GCSE and A level work from across the faculty.
On the evening of 13th July, talented students from the Performing Arts Department participated in the spectacular Summer Review.
The Priory Ruskin Academy has been nationally recognised for its exceptional 2015 performance by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT). Educational Outcomes data analysis from SSAT has shown that the Academy is in the top 10% of schools nationally for progress made by students between their key stage 2 results at primary school and their key stage 4 results.
