Sixth Form
The Sixth Form at The Priory Ruskin Academy is an exciting and vibrant place to study. Set in a discreet and supportive learning environment, our Sixth Form students enjoy their own designated study rooms and cafeteria whilst being able to utilise and enjoy the excellent facilities offered within the wider Academy.
Our rapidly expanding Sixth Form offers an impressive range of both A-Level and BTEC courses, all taught by dedicated and specialist staff and within a school context. Our students benefit from having a dedicated Sixth Form Lead, Pastoral Manager and Academic Manager, as well as a team of Form Tutors who provide support for choosing courses, universities and careers as well as personal support when needed. The academic ethos in the Sixth Form means that we aspire to see a majority of students progress to university at the end of Year 13 and a programme of events is in place to support this. Students identified as not wishing to progress to university have an equally comprehensive support programme to ensure they secure a suitable higher level apprenticeship or employment.
Being a student at The Priory Ruskin Academy Sixth Form is a challenging, stimulating and rewarding experience which equips all who study here with the qualifications and experiences necessary to take the next exciting step in their lives.
